No-Bake Energy Bites Recipe with PaediaSure Shake
Little hands will love to roll these easy energy bites
Roll up, roll up! Packed with oats and dried fruit, this healthy snack for kids gets an extra nutrition boost with PaediaSure Shake. Perfect for your little ball of energy. Make snack time a fun time by encouraging your child to help you make them! They’ll love rolling the mixture into balls. Keep a batch in the fridge for a nutritious lunchbox treat or after-school snack.
Method:
1. In a small microwaveable bowl, mix together 3 scoops PaediaSure Shake, peanut butter, honey and cocoa powder until well combined.
2. Microwave this mixture for 30 seconds.
3. In a larger bowl, mix together the rest of your dry ingredients until well combined.
4. Using a spatula, add the peanut butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
5. Then, roll the mixture into balls (it should make about 12 balls).
6. Place your No-Bake Energy Bites in a container and chill in the fridge overnight. (Hide them at the back. Once the kids know where they are, they’ll be gone before you know it!)
Makes: 12 energy bites
Ingredients
3 scoops* PaediaSure Shake powder, chocolate flavour
225g smooth peanut butter
175g honey
2 tbsp cocoa powder
200g puffed rice
140g oats
80g dried fruit
30g ground flaxseed
* Use the scoop provided in the PaediaSure Shake tin.
